Benton Modern Font

Benton Modern Font Text was initially created at the Font Bureau for publication by the Boston Globe and Detroit Free Press. The design and proportions were taken from Morris Fuller Benton’s turn-of-the-century Century Expanded for ATF which revived revolutionary magazine and newstext roman.

For italics, Century Schoolbook was used while display cuttings were designed by Dyana Weissman and Richard Lipton respectively; Benton Modern can also be used in corporate book Corporate use.
