Berlin Bold Font To coincide with what has been regarded as globalization, Berlin is a series of demonstrations fonts that is inspired by the simplest geometric type face of early this century. Berlin currently includes four versions, with every one of them available in three different weights – Berlin Bold, Berlin, Berlin Bold X. As for Mr Red, Mark and I started designing the font with him in spring with the intention of creating a font system usable in slogans, promotional materials and what not.
That is why as far as I being no font designer I have spent too much time selecting the font and we came to the decision to use hand crafted designs, and eventually abandoning this idea. However, I did not relinquish working on the typeface for my free time and was able to develop few variations like the Berlina, Slaberlin and Uberlin; with the Uberlin having the three styles: the common, bold, and x-bold typeface style, in addition to the italic version for the Berlin typeface.
