7-Eleven Font Owned by Seven & I Holdings Co from Japan, ‘s convenience store is known as 7-Eleven and is located in Dallas. It controls a chain of more than 60, 000 stores across the globe, with higher concentration in Asian and North American regions. All the mini-marts offer food and drinks to the public at any time of the day. The modern chain of stores was created in 1927when several ice merchants came together to form the Southland Ice Company the company later diversified into retailing and groceries to expand its base.
Their business relied on ice blocks rather than electric refrigerators and this made their business have something to do with food. The company froze one glacier so that it could supply eggs, milk, and other perishable commodities to the residents at all times. The business was earning good revenues, and the managers opted to establish more outlets. This is how an entire retail chain – Tote’m Stores – came into being from scratch.
