Whitney Sans Serif Font is development by the artist and American type designer, Tobias Frere Jones who has been credited for creating typefaces such as the Helsinki style fonts in particular for the Whitney Museums of American Art in New York where they use it for identification or in other words as their house font. Since it aligns with the Helsinki font styles it’s crucial that two fundamental requirements of a typeface that fits an editorial denote are also fitted in the Whitney Font.
The two important aspects that define a good typeface meet the editorial needs and the need for design consistency and coherence of the font style Both are found in the Whitney Font. It is also used in Github and CSS types; both the options of medium and bold weight will nicely supplement when selecting the typefaces.
